Yeah happy Friday?
No longer.
Men.
Do ANY OF THEM KNOW WHAT THE HELL THEY WANT?
We were supposed to meet up yesterday, only to get a phone call saying "um well, I have family things and work to do, but (this is the best part) I'll KEEP YOU IN MIND FOR LATER THIS WEEK"
Ugh. Did I do a job interview in the past few days I'm not aware of?
What in HELL?
So I emailed him - called him on it.
Basically said "I'm interested, you were interested, what in hell? What was that 3 hour phone call that I couldn't get you off the phone about?"
"well I'm still feeling this whole thing out, I can't give you any promises if you're looking for something immediate"
What I read into that is "whoever fucks me first wins", however, it's probably also "you're not hot enough/thin/enough/and I'm someone that shouldn't be dating yet but like you and I don't know what the fuck I want".
Yea me.
Another one.
I give the hell up.
No more.
He hurt my feelings and made me cry.
Geezus.

And so starts a long and miserable week for many... jeezbus, I'm so sorry you're going through all this crap :-(
Sigh. Wish I could cheer you up somehow but it seems my joojoo has dried up, unlike the montreal skies.
I'm sorry. As annoying as it is to hear I'm sure, at least he is telling you who he is. And although you felt a connection, at least he didn't drag it out?? OK, I'll shut up now. that was stupid. ha ha!
Well as surfergrrl put it, he's telling you who he is. This has nothing to do with you. This is not a rejection because you can't reject someone you don't even know.
I have a few rules about online dating:
1. Nothing is real until you meet in person. People may seem to be one way, but you don't know until you meet and actually see each other face to face.
2. No three hour phone conversations/marathon IM sessions until after you've met in person. It only sets you up to think that you know the person and you really don't.
3. Meet as soon as possible. I know some people like to email, chat etc. forever before meeting, but that usually ends up in disappointment. It gives you a false sense of knowing someone and when you meet and they turn out to be different you feel like shit! (see number 2)
Sorry this went awry, but get back up the horse and pretty soon this guy won't even be a memory.
TD - I'm tired of the bullshit. point finale.
surfergrrl - yep, at least it didn't go any further. Whatever.
Diva - we have already met twice in person. and I'm a go with the flow kind of person
And I'm not dating anymore. Enough.
